The video combines many elements to be a must watch movie, the opening scene sets an amazing atmosphere and tone for it. I can see that it could be confused as a distraction from the movie but it was a clever way to add even more energy and flow to his movie. The atmosphere that was created is truly astonishing, the animation work that was added has a great deal to do with it.
The frags in the movie are, for the most part, genuine the thing is for this movie it doesn't matter. If you are looking for luck style shots seen in movies such as Synced your looking in the wrong place. He mixes in some of the luck shots but a lot of them are fairly basic 5 mans. Now the reason they don't matter so much is that the editing is just so creative your drawn in to the film in a instant and anytime you feel detached he just brings you right back.
The editing itself is very creative the transitions never seem to fall into the clichés you expect. No person dieing to change song, no zooming into windows, no cutting out parts of the picture. The graphical work throughout is well conceived and extremely well executed. This is with out a doubt a must watch movie even for those who play other games.
